Live audio production

For my live audio production project I have decided to record an orchestra performing in front of their school. For this project it required a relatively short equipment list: 2 RODE NT2 condenser mics, 1 Tascam 8 channel … DAR, XLR cables, 1 Laptop. And for video capturing purposes: 1 Cannon 7d and Tripod. This project was a demonstration of live sound mixing as well as live sound recording. In order to make this project go above and beyond at the end of the performance reception I had prepared disks for all of the students in the orchestra. The microphone arrangement was the biggest issue when it came to getting the sound of the entire orchestra rather than having just a select few instruments drowning out the mix. One of the microphones was in the center of the stage
